The Northern New Jersey Region of the Porsche Club of America found itself in a predicament last year. Maintenance of our website software was several releases behind, reaching the point where our website could not share a processor with any other sites. The operators of our host server, understandably concerned, had given us a tight window within which to upgrade or be closed down. Given the effort involved in the upgrade and the limitations built in to our old software, we decided to establish a new, JOOMLA-based site. The Moonlighting Group, lead by John Flynn, took us through a very aggressive two month schedule during which they established a 15 page layered site, provided a forum, and converted the critical historical content [Tom the old site. John worked with a small subcommittee of our board to define the appearance and operational characteristics of the new site. The delivered product met or exceeded all of the agreed upon criteria and was operational before the tight drop-dead date. In fact, John provided a window within which board members could test the new website before it went live. The new site has operated for a year without any failure, and while we have an agreement with John and The Moonlighting Group for ongoing maintenance and support, from a client perspective, the site seems to run itself.
